Michele, 23, competed in the Great Britain elite squad from the ages of five to 16 and won around 50 medals, 30 of them gold. She won her medals competing in the British and north west championships and international championships in America.

Michele, of Victoria Park, Manchester, trained at the Robin Park Athletics Arena, in Wigan, but had to eventually stop due to injury.

She is now working at Jack Ross, Blackfriars Road, as a secretary and PA and joins from Adam F Greenhalgh solicitors, in Bolton, where she was a legal secretary. Michele attended Walkden High School and has also completed a degree in law at Leeds University.
