In March we’re hosting our own post-Budget Question Time event with Rossendale and Darwen MP Jake Berry.
We’re inviting owners and managers from across Rossendale to the Jack Ross Budget Breakfast event at Rawtenstall Cricket Club on Friday March 25 — two days after the chancellor George Osborne delivers his Budget.
Our special post-Budget breakfast meeting will give Rossendale businesses the chance to find out more about the direction of the economy from one of the coalition Ministers — our local MP Jake Berry.
We think it will offer a fascinating insight into the government’s thinking. At the same time it will =be a useful opportunity for Jake to receive some valuable feedback directly from the sharp end on how businesses in region are coping.
Too often the Budget speech can sometimes feel very remote but this event will help bring it to life.
It also offers a chance for businesses in Rossendale to network.
Says Jack Ross partner Umar Memon: “There is a very vibrant business sector in Rossendale with a number of very important employers — but the chances for them to meet up like this and to have their voice heard are rare. We are hoping this event will be the first of regular Jack Ross business seminars in the area.”
