KEEN traveller Adam Rose, 22, has joined leading Manchester city centre accountancy firm Jack Ross as a trainee accountant.

Umar Memon, a partner at Jack Ross Chartered Accountants, said he was delighted to welcome Adam to the team.

He said: “Adam is keen, bright and has good personal skills and we feel sure he will be a valuable addition to Jack Ross. Adam is already making a great contribution and has a bright future ahead of him.”

Adam, who lives in Gresham Close, Whitefield, graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in accounting and finance before jetting off to travel the world.

His trip took in Thailand, Australia, Brazil and Argentina and Adam said the highlight was a bungee jump and sky dive in New Zealand.

The former pupil at The King David High School, in Crumpsall, also has a keen interest in sport and regularly plays five-a-side football.

He said: “Jack Ross is a fantastic starting point for any trainee who wants to get ahead. The senior staff have a wealth of experience and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I am looking forward to a successful career.”

Jack Ross is one of the city’s oldest firms of accountants and celebrates its 60th anniversary next year. Together with sister company Concerva Lifetime Money Management, it is based in a modern office at Barnfield House, The Approach, Blackfriars Road.
