His Majesty King Charles III’s Coronation is coming up on Monday, May 8 2023, and Jack Ross Chartered Accountants will be closed to allow colleagues to celebrate. This will be the first Coronation many people will have witnessed. Therefore, the company’s management has approved the office closure to recognise such an historic event.
The Coronation will occur at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6 2023, conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury. An extensive programme of public celebrations is planned across the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. We at Jack Ross are all very much looking forward to it.
Jack Ross Chartered Accountants is eager to accommodate employees who wish to mark the historic occasion and related events. We are thereby treating Monday as a day of closure.
In fact, representative of Jack Ross Chartered Accountants said: “We are pleased to offer our employees an additional paid day off to join in this historical event and global celebrations, as we have done for other such events.”
In addition to the Coronation event, there will be further opportunities for people to come together in celebration. On Sunday, May 7 2023, a special Coronation Concert will be staged and broadcast live at Windsor Castle.
However, its not only a weekend full of televised festivities. For example, The Coronation Big Lunch, where neighbours and communities are invited to share food and fun, will occur nationwide on the same date. Additionally,on Monday, May 8 2023, members of the public will be invited to participate in The Big Help Out. This will encourage people to try volunteering and join the work being undertaken to support their local areas.
