Several of our accountants stepped out onto the glorious five-a-side pitches at Powerleague Manchester last week to compete in the March Business Cup 2024, where they emerged as proud quarter-finalists.
Talha Raja, a Senior Manager here at Jack Ross and de-facto Captain of Athletico Jack Ross, reported on the team’s glory:
(Reflecting on a hard-fought 1-0 loss in the opening fixture of the group stage) “The team we played in the first tight game finished as runners up, beaten by the only team (Biffa) who had their own customised kits (clearly a team who play regularly).”
(Post-tournament team talk) “Proud of the team effort (we all scored) and hope you all enjoyed it as I did. Onto the next one!”
