In her first months at Jack Ross, Aoife Donnelly impressed colleagues by learning new tax processes, acting on feedback and helping the team through a busy period. She is Employee of the Month for August 2026.
What her nominations said
July 2026 was Aoife’s first full month at the firm, so her first weeks coincided with the tax team’s first quarterly update under Making Tax Digital for Income Tax, due by 7 August. Her nominations covered her teamwork through that busy period.
They also covered the way she has taken on training and review points, showing real improvement and an eagerness to grow, and a good job preparing her first tax returns while absorbing a lot of new information about the firm’s systems, processes and accounting.
Colleagues made the same point in different ways: she takes feedback, acts on it and gets better quickly. In her first full month she also dropped straight into the work, completing a considerable number of VAT and income tax returns.
