During the January Self Assessment rush, Sammy Asante-Siaw was recognised for calm, dependable work and for helping colleagues meet their deadlines.
With the 31 January filing deadline, January is the month the whole tax team works towards the same date.
Returns at volume, and time for others
Sammy’s nominations were specific. One colleague wrote: “Great work in completing lots of tax returns whilst also helping out his colleagues.” Another praised “great work with tax returns, being proactive and taking accountability”. A third put it in one line: “January tax work under pressure of deadline.”
Sammy completed a large number of returns under that pressure while staying calm, taking ownership of his work and remaining someone colleagues could rely on.
