Graduate Kieran joins Jack Ross

  • by

Kieran Williams has been appointed as a Trainee Accountant at leading Manchester Chartered Accounting Firm Jack Ross.

The position will give the economics graduate his first taste of Accounting. The 23 year old, from Heaton Mersey, Stockport chose to train with Jack Ross as he was attracted to their “unique approach”, great working environment and the diversity and variety the company offers.

He says: “I believe that the challenging but supportive atmosphere at Jack Ross will give me the best foundation to start my professional career. In five years time I hope to be fully qualified and have progressed in the role. I would like to have lots of responsibility, look after a large range of clients and continue to be challenged.”

He will deal with a range of client accounts and audits as part of his training.
Jack Ross is dedicated to investing in young graduate talent and senior partner Peter Black says: “We believe in developing our own talent and I am looking forward to what Kieran will bring to our team. He is a very bright prospect and I am convinced he will be a real asset to the firm.”

After graduating from The University of Leeds in 2008, he took on various temporary roles to fund travelling, visiting places like Thailand and volunteering in India, which he described as “a really amazing and positive experience.”

He has a keen interest in sports and recently decided to take up Chinese Martial Arts as a new and challenging hobby and has just passed his second grade.

An avid Manchester United supporter, Kieran’s also the team captain of a local five-aside football team, who play in a local league every Sunday.
