TIME RIGHT FOR EXPANSION

MANCHESTER accountancy firm Jack Ross has expanded with the launch of an office in Bacup, Rossendale.The practice, which is celebrating 60 years in business, said the move was a response to increasing demand for its services in the area.

The Bacup branch at Futures Park will be run by partner Umar Memon, who lives in the Rossendale Valley. Jack Ross expects to create six jobs at the new office.

 

Managing partner Peter Black said: “It’s a progressive move for the company but we feel the time is right now to consolidate our presence in an area where we already have something of a foothold.”

Jack Ross has its headquarters at Barnfield House, Blackfriars Road, and employs around 30 staff.

It is marking its diamond anniversary by sponsoring the New Children’s Hospital Appeal.
